Man released over Dublin hit and run

first_imgA MAN ARRESTED in connection with a serious hit and run in Dublin on Thursday has been released without charge.The man in his mid 30s was arrested on Friday afternoon and was held in Mountjoy Garda Station for questioning.Gardaí said this morning that a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.The hit and run happened at Trinity Lane in Dublin 3, off Clonliffe Road, on Thursday at around 1pm.The 34-year-old man who was injured in the incident remains in a serious condition in the Mater Hospital.The victim was on temporary release from prison and Gardaí say he may have been targeted intentionally.
